Senate proposal to tax stock options removed

All,Great news! Last night, the Senate removed the proposed tax on stock options and restricted stock units (RSUs) from the tax reform bill. The tech community’s swift and strong action on this was most certainly a significant factor in the provision being pulled.Thank you to all of our Tech:NYC members who signed on to the letter, which our friends at Engine successfully spearheaded, and to the many others who engaged directly with their Congressional representatives to make sure our community’s voices were heard.We will continue to monitor the tax reform process, and will make sure to reach out with any relevant updates.
