We're launching the Quarterly on World Press Freedom Day.

We're launching The Quarterly, an event that brings together New York’s leading technology media and influencers. We are delighted to host our inaugural event @TwitterNYC on World Press Freedom Day. We want to pause and take time to mark the day and important work that you do working in media, communications, and public affairs.Occurring at the end of each quarter (get it?), The Quarterly assembles a highly curated group of tech, communications, media, and public affairs professionals. Over drinks and hors d'oeuvres, you’ll have a chance to discuss the state of the NYC tech industry, promote positive change, and create valuable new connections.

The Quarterly was founded by Turner, Bloomberg, Sprinklr, and Tech:NYC with the intention of putting members of traditional media, public relations, technology, and public affairs in the same room. Without an agenda. Really.The inaugural edition of The Quarterly will be at 6:30 p.m. on May 3rd and will be held in Twitter’s subterranean speakeasy.  Twitter is committed to support freedom of the press and speech, which is why we couldn't think of a more appropriate venue to celebrate World Press Freedom.
