Startup Newsletter: November 2023

Q4 is off to a hot start! (Are you, like us, still recovering from #NYTechWeek?) It was definitely a whirlwind of a week, but it’s also exactly why we love New York tech — with more than 420 events across the city, you could feel the excitement and optimism about how the ecosystem continues to grow here. A key highlight for us was, of course, our own Founder House — we spent the week connecting with a new cohort of 40 early-stage founders and a lot of industry partners equally as excited to help them take that next step with their companies.A special round of thanks to WeWork, our lead House partner, and other sponsors: Google for Startups, Gunderson Dettmer, and Innovatemap. Another round of thanks to the roster of partners who offered personalized support to the cohort: Eniac Ventures, Thoropass, Justworks, and Carta. We’re already working on plans for Cohort 3 – stay tuned for our announcements when applications open! Until then, we hope to see you at many of the other events we have planned in between (see those lists below). If we can help in any other ways, as always, you know where to find us!– Team Tech:NYC 🗽PS: It’s early voting week in NYC, and election day is Nov. 7. Make sure you get to the polls!
COMPANIES TO WATCHFor this month’s Companies to Watch feature, we selected a group of founders from the latest cohort of Founder House. After the House wrapped, we caught up with them to dig deeper on why they’re committed to the New York tech ecosystem and what’s next for their companies. Meet:
