☑️Ecosystem Survey ☑️
Tech:NYC has partnered with M13 Ventures to launch an important ecosystem survey designed to gather insights directly from founders about their experiences building companies in New York City.
We'd love for you to take ~5 minutes to complete this to help us understand the state of the ecosystem from a founder perspective. In exchange, one founder will win a ticket to Web Summit 2024!
Decoded Futures: Request Tech Volunteers
The pilot program of Decoded Futures at the Tech:NYC Foundation has launched for 40 leaders in education and workforce nonprofits to learn AI over a 10-week learning cohort. For more information, contact Bryan.
We are looking for technologists with experience in implementing AI to volunteer their time and knowledge to help education and workforce nonprofits navigate the challenges and opportunities of AI.
Virtual volunteer opportunities in November and December include:
Giving 1-2 hours as an ideation partner with a nonprofit solving a challenge with AI during a session.
Serving as a 1-1 industry expert advisor for 1-2 one hour calls with a nonprofit.
Joining as a group lead for nonprofits solving a common AI workflow problem.

NYCEDC’s Founder Fellowship program supports a diverse community of New York City-based tech startup entrepreneurs with much-needed access to industry networks, fundraising, mentorship, business development, and other opportunities necessary to build and scale their enterprises. Apply by Dec. 6 here.
Applications are open for PEERLESS 2025. Curated programming will culminate in five early-stage founders pitching at Google's NYC headquarters in April, where one winner will receive a $1 million investment from AlleyCorp. AlleyCorp encourages applications from startups that are led by Black, Latine, Native American, or female founders. Apply by Dec. 6 here.
Each year, the Queens Tech + Innovation Challenge awards five grants of up to $20,000 for startup businesses that will have a positive impact on the borough of Queens. They’re looking for startups in five fields: consumer tech, enterprise tech, sustainability, food & beverage, and community. Apply by March 1 here.
AcceleratorCON is seeking applications for the Draft Combine, an opportunity for startups to be scouted by top accelerators and investors. Selected startups will gain access to one-on-one meetings with leading VC firms, get feedback, and more. Apply here.
Forum Ventures is accepting pitches for its Forum for Founders program. The firm is investing in 30+ companies over three months, offering $100,000 and admission to its pre-seed accelerator to provide GTM and sales support. Apply here.
