We’re excited to announce that our founding executive director, Julie Samuels, is returning to lead Tech:NYC.Julie is guided by an unwavering commitment to helping the tech ecosystem in New York — and the city as a whole — reach its full potential, and we’re lucky to have such a strong and passionate advocate leading the next stage of Tech:NYC’s growth.We also want to say how grateful we are for Jason Myles Clark’s leadership as executive director, and congratulate him for all that he accomplished here. Jason will have more to share about his future soon, and we wish him all the best in his next step.Many of you already know Julie well: she launched Tech:NYC in 2016 with five founding member companies and grew our network to more than 800 in just five years.As the sector stares down economic headwinds, Tech:NYC will double down on efforts to fortify New York’s status as a dynamic tech hub. That means an expansion of our member network, new programs to expand support for fast-growing tech subsectors, and deepening our partnerships with other city leaders to ensure tech’s growth here is a boon for all New Yorkers.
