Friday! If you’re hoping to sneak off to your weekend a bit early, you have our support. Here’s another short, summer Friday-inspired digest:
A quick round of updates:
ICYMI: this week, the CDC released comprehensive new guidelines that would mean sweeping changes for American offices. (New York Times) See our recap of the guidelines here.
Five upstate regions will be allowed to move into Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan today, which includes all office-based jobs. To that end, the state also released new guidelines for office-based work.
Gov. Cuomo is projecting NYC will begin Phase 1 of the reopening plan the week of June 8th. (NBC New York) This means the following industries will resume operations: construction, manufacturing, wholesale, and nonessential retail.
Today is the last day to register to vote for the June 23 presidential and local primaries. If you’re a new voter or have recently moved, find details for how to complete your registration here. (And reminder: all New Yorkers are eligible to vote absentee. Details for how to get your ballot in the mail are here.)
One housekeeping reminder: if you haven’t already, be sure to add us ([email protected]) to the contacts in your inbox so future digests don’t get lost.
See you Monday!
