Oh the irony...at the time when it seems we could most use a drink, bars are closed. Yet, as our governor has pointed out, “you can have a martini at home”. To that end, check out this great new book of cocktails by David Lebovitz: Drinking French. He’s also a solid follow on Instagram for drink and food inspiration.
If you haven’t started watching HBO’s Westworld yet, now is a good time for a streaming binge. Season 3 premiered last weekend and episode 2 is out Sunday. It’s a dystopia that makes present circumstances seem less apocalyptic in comparison.
Survey
Your answers are anonymous and we’ll share results here. You might have seen Andrew Ross Sorkin’s recommendation that the “government could offer every American business, large and small, and every self-employed — and gig — worker a no-interest ‘bridge loan’ guaranteed for the duration of the crisis to be paid back over a five-year period. The only condition of the loan to businesses would be that companies continue to employ at least 90 percent of their work force at the same wage that they did before the crisis.”Do you think your company would consider taking out a no-interest bridge loan right now?
