The Latest in New York

General Updates
A randomized sample of 12,000 statewide antibody tests over the past six weeks show a one percent increase — from 12.3 percent to 13.4 percent — in positive test results. NYC’s antibody positive rate is now 21.6 percent, an increase of 1.6 percent since the last testing sample. (NBC New York)
Despite some predictions that the additional infusion of funds in April would be insufficient, there is still more than $100 billion available through the federal Paycheck Protection Program. (Axios)
As new cases and hospitalizations continue trending downward, NYC’s public hospital system is turning its focus to the fall season and a potential COVID second wave that could coincide with flu season. (Crain’s NY)
And that move could prove prescient: according to a new Axios-Ipsos poll, eight in ten Americans are worried about a second wave of the coronavirus, with a large majority saying they'll resume social distancing, dial back shopping habits, and keep their kids out of school if it happens. (Axios)

What You Need to Know
What to Know: Reopening:
The Capital Region will enter Phase III tomorrow, giving the greenlight for limited indoor restaurant seating and personal care services to reopen. (NBC New York) At that point, all regions north of the Hudson Valley will have begun Phase III.
Hospitals statewide are now allowed to accept visitors at their discretion. They must follow state guidelines, including time limited visits and requiring visitors to wear PPE and be subject to symptom and temperature checks. Group homes are also allowed to accept visitors under the same rules. (New York Daily News) Visitors to nursing homes, however, are still prohibited.
The US Open will be held in Queens from August 31 to September 13. The tournament will proceed without fans in the stadium, and players and staff will be regularly tested and required to stay in dedicated housing and transportation. (ESPN)

What to Know: Return-to-Office:
JPMorgan is bringing more of its trading personnel back to its NYC headquarters beginning June 22, with plans to have as much as 50 percent of its employees returned by mid-July. (CNBC)
