What We're Up To:

  • Victory! Online Marketplace Tax Defeated: We fought to defeat a tax proposal that would have hurt Internet marketplace companies like Etsy and eBay and, even worse, would have discouraged new online marketplaces from coming to New York. And we won.

  • Statement on H1-B Visa Executive Order: We responded to President Trump's new executive order on reviewing the H1-B visa program.

  • We're Hiring! Tech:NYC is looking for a new Policy Director. Come join our growing team. Details here.

  • New Tech:NYC Hire: We are happy to announce that we've hired Sean Ludwig as our new Communications and Marketing Director.
