What We're Up To:
Victory! Online Marketplace Tax Defeated: We fought to defeat a tax proposal that would have hurt Internet marketplace companies like Etsy and eBay and, even worse, would have discouraged new online marketplaces from coming to New York. And we won.
First Policy White Paper: Check out our first white paper on encryption and government access to encrypted data. This is going to be a hot topic for the next few years, so we'll be sure to keep an eye on it.
Statement on H1-B Visa Executive Order: We responded to President Trump's new executive order on reviewing the H1-B visa program.
