Don’t Forget to Vote this Thursday!
As you may know, New York State is holding primary elections this Thursday, September 13. Get out and vote!
New Yorkers face important decisions this year and it is crucial that we all participate. In some ways this primary is more than just an election over issues and candidates. It presents an opportunity to reverse a bad trend in our state.
Historically, New York has had embarrassingly low voter turnout. This is largely because New York State makes it notoriously hard to register and vote—this is something Tech:NYC will be working on in Albany in 2019.
In the meantime, the best way to reverse this trend is to vote.
